Safari Energy Hires Daniel Jordan to Lead Operations

NEW YORK, September 25, 2020Leading commercial and industrial solar developer, Safari Energy, today announced that Daniel Jordan has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Operations. Daniel brings over 30 years of experience in engineering and construction with a focus on renewables.

Daniel joins Safari Energy as the company has recently announced several impressive operational milestones, including the company’s 60th commercial solar project completed in New Jersey. Safari Energy has developed or acquired more than 400 projects in 23 states and D.C., and recently surpassed more than 500 gigawatt hours of electricity produced by its solar power systems. That is the equivalent of offsetting 362,000 tons of CO2 or charging 46 billion smartphones.


Daniel has held several leadership positions including Sun Edison, Tetra Tech, Skanska USA, and Bechtel. Earlier in his career, Daniel served as an officer in the US Air Force. Daniel is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting as well as Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute.
