The basic components of a solar PV system are solar modules, solar inverters and a solar racking system. The modules are the building blocks that capture the energy from the sun. The solar inverters are the components that take this captured energy and convert it into usable energy that can be fed back into the grid. This is a very elegant solution to increase the energy generation capacity of a particular location while boosting the economics of the site. 

A solar racking system is the structural piece that holds the whole system together. It depends on the quality and age of the roof, and is easily customizable to the needs of the customer.
